Hi Mark,

How's it going?

I've been working on some new paintings about which I am very excited, but
have hit a bit of a difficult patch as I'm having now to move due to the
fact my rent has been raised yet again, and it is impossible for me to
afford my current living situation. Therefore, I am asking all of the people
I consider friends if they can help.

My landlord will increase my rent $500 per month. According to my
calculations, I¹ve got about three months to find another living situation.
I am able to pay a maximum of $1,400 per month. I would prefer a live/work
situation even if it means creating a studio in a garage. I am open to
sharing a place if it¹s with the right person.

As far as income goes, I have been making my living as an adjunct instructor
and by selling paintings for many years now. I am seeking either more
classes and private students or additional forms of income, which could
include administrative work, some very basic Photoshop and InDesign work,
writing, and of course selling paintings and creating paintings on
commission. I would welcome the offer of part-time work as well as a
full-time position and I own a MacBook Pro laptop for freelance work.

I would appreciate any assistance or phone calls on my behalf or leads that
I could follow up on. I have excellent recommendations and would be happy
to send you a full resume and bio if you feel it would be helpful.

Thank you very much for your kindness during a challenging time.

Best regards,

Lisa :)
